About the Book

When Princess Penelope is born, she suffers from a disability that confines to her bed. As she grows, she wishes she could run and play in the meadow just like all of the other children she sees outside of her window.

One day, her wish comes true. A group of fairies has heard her pleas, and with their magic, Princess Penelope becomes mobile. The fairies create the most beautiful chair with big wheels on each side and flowers all over. Penelope is so happy with her chair. It allows her to play outside and go to school. And, she uses her special chair to help others.

A picture book for children, The Adventures of Princess Penelope communicates the message that to be unique is the perfect way to be.
