About the Author
Janice Scott Cover, EdD, has spent most of her professional life working in urban school systems in the United States and Jamaica. She completed a certificate in education at Moneague Teachers’ College, Jamaica; earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, Louisiana State University; and a master’s degree in educational leadership and a doctorate degree in education with a concentration in child and youth studies, Nova Southeastern University.
