About the Book
Five-year-old Sammy has a big question: what’s a belly button good for? Determined to find the answer, Sammy decides to ask his friends if they know.
Johnny has no idea what a belly button is good for. Neither does Susie, the smartest kid in kindergarten. His big brother, Ricky, does not know either. When his sister and father do not seem to know the answer, Sammy heads into the kitchen to find the only other person whom he thinks may know the answer—his mother. But will she have the answer?
In this charming children’s book, a curious little boy determined to learn the purpose of his belly button discovers that his question may be more difficult to answer than he thought.
