About the Book

A spoiled princess in a faraway land loves to demand unhealthy foods from the castle chef. Whenever the chef offers her an apple, carrot, or even a pear, the Cupcake Princess screams “No, no, no!” and demands sweet treats instead.

After the princess counts ten unhealthy treats, the castle chef is in despair. Although he knows that all children must eat with wisdom and care, he wonders if he can ever convince her to try healthy foods.

In this delightful children’s tale, a stubborn princess counts her way to better eating, with help from her determined castle chef.

About the Author

Teresa Gaydosz is a retired elementary teacher. She encourages her students and her eleven grandchildren to enjoy books. She lives with her husband of almost forty years in Western Pennsylvania.

Illustrator Pamela Hoffman is a graduate of the Savannah College of Arts and Design. She lives in Savannah, Georgia, with her husband and daughter.
