About the Author
Karmen Zayas is an educator, artist, songwriter, and singer who has taught children for thirty years. She earned a BA from the University of Puerto Rico, a diploma in Voice from the Conservatory of Music in Puerto Rico, a MM degree from New England Conservatory of Music, and pursued postgraduate studies at The Juilliard School of Music. Karmen is the founder of Tribeca Opera Company in New York.
