Tommy’s Grandma Betty went to heaven. Some-times Tommy is sad because he misses his Grandma. Milo, Tommy’s dog, misses Grandma Betty too.
Grandma Betty was fun and laughed a lot. When she and Tommy played with his road race track Grandma Betty always had dibs on the blue car. Tommy and his Grandma liked to swim and ride bikes together too. Once Grandma Betty even rode in Tommy’s go cart!
On Saturdays, Tommy and his Mom and Dad take Milo to the park. Tommy’s Mom makes a picnic lunch. After lunch Tommy and his Dad train Milo to catch a Frisbee. Milo isn’t very good at catching the Frisbee yet but he has a lot of fun running around the park. Grandma Betty used to go to the park with Tommy and his family before she went to heaven.

About the Book
Heaven’s Magic Bubble Machine introduces Tommy and Milo, his dog. They miss his Grandma Betty, who has gone to heaven. Tommy misses her loving hugs. Milo misses when she would go to the park to watch him play with Tommy. Miss Ellie, a kind neighbor, tells them a secret about grandmas--a magical secret.

“‘Yes I do!’ Tommy told her.
“‘That is because of the magic love of Grandmas,’ said Miss Ellie. ‘The reason your cheeks are rosy is because your Grandma floats down magic bubbles with hugs and kisses in them while you are sleeping.’”

T.L. Yuki and her husband, Alan, live with Mochi, their frisky, fourpound Chihuahua, in Southern California and Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Her two cockatiels--Kiwi and Potato Chip--sing beautiful melodies together in heaven. Friends and loved ones know her as Granny T.
