CHAPTER TWO: BATH – PERSONAL HYGIENE
Remember, for every minute, one (1) minute, you let the water run, you WASTE 8 quarts of water, even more in the shower!
Use Tubeless Toilet Paper: If you aren’t doing this yet, START TODAY! There is NO reason to throw away, or even recycle toilet paper tubes! This is one of the biggest wastes I can think of (except, of course, using paper towels & bottled water!)! Scott makes it, it is 2 ply and soft - so USE it!
Did you know that in America alone, we throw away enough toilet paper tubes to fill the Empire State Building - TWICE - a year!!! Disgusting, wasteful and unnecessary! I cannot think of one valid objection to changing over to tubeless toilet paper. Just think of all the resources we can save just by doing this one thing (trees, electricity, recycling processes, glue polluting the environment, and on and on and on)!
Turn the water off: Wet your toothbrush - turn off faucet - then turn it back on when you need to rinse.
Place Some Water in the Basin: Instead of letting the water run, simply put an inch or two in the basin and use it to wet your brush to dampen you hair, rinse off your razor while shaving or cleaning the bathroom.
Use a Towel Multiple Times: You can use a towel at least three time before you launder it, just be sure to let it air dry between uses, don’t ball it up on the floor - it will stink. Hang it on your towel rack and let it air dry each day. Same goes for swimming pool towels.

About the Author
Mary Stanowicz-Freeman is a mother of four awesome children and four precious grandchildren. She currently resides in Lake Park, Indian Trail, in rural North Carolina. She spent most of her life in some of God’s most beautiful places. Mary grew up in the farmlands of New Jersey, in Hackettstown and lived ten years in wonderful Wyoming! Her children grew up camping summer weekends, in the most majestic places on earth.
