‘The Adventures of the Precious Knights’ is an introduction to the Land of Everbright, Castle Precious and the three friends, Sir Gold, Sir Silver and Sir Rusty. They are pledged to keep the castle safe from the bands of stripy dragons that terrify the people of the land.
Their finding of a newly hatched baby stripy dragon that has been abandoned by its mother leads to the idea of adopting the infant so that they can learn about the habits (some good but mostly nasty) of stripy dragons. The rearing of the hatchling is not without its problems, but once the baby dragon gets named, the three knights realize just how useful their new pet can be.

About the Book
Sir Gold, Sir Silver, and Sir Rusty are brave knights and best friends who fiercely protect Castle Precious and the villagers of Everbright from the scourge of terrifying stripy dragons.
One day while on their way back to the castle, the knights find a newly hatched baby stripy dragon crying for its mother and decide to adopt him so they can learn more about the sworn mortal enemies of the land. As the little dragon grows bigger and stronger from a diet of strawberry tarts, the knights anxiously wait to see if he can really help them in their quest to better understand the flying fiery reptiles.
In this delightful children’s story, a trio of knights sworn to protect their mystical land from scary creatures adopt a baby dragon who helps educate them about his reptilian traits.
About the Author
Valerie Crowe is an expatriate who has entertained both her children and grandchildren with her tales of the Precious Knights. She resides in Palm Harbor, Florida, where she continues to write. This is her first children’s book.
