In the Heart of the Coop

Heart of the Coop is a children’s book about a community of hens and chickens trying to get through their everyday life and chores while dealing with outside dangers of the real world.
However, there’s crisis in the Chicken Coop! When Dark Cloud turns to her best friend Sunshine and announces, “I told you they were up to no good. We should have told Mother Hen from the beginning, but it’s too late.”
The group dynamics of the coop are challenged when Millie and her two little followers decide to break the coop rules and go against the grain for their own selfish desires. Because their selfish actions the coop faces serious consequences. Will they lose one of their hens? Will this change the coop forever?
