Based on a true story, author Linda Regalia Stankey’s Saying Good-Bye tells of a family’s first experience with a pet. Carrie desperately wanted a pet, and her parents agreed on a kitten they name Kiki. He grew to be a happy and lovable cat. One beautiful day, Carrie tied Kiki by the barn while the family was away. Sadly, they return home to a tragedy.
Losing someone you love, whether a person or a beloved pet, is never easy. Saying Good-Bye is a story of love and loss, and eventually recovery after losing a pet.
About the Author
Linda Regalia Stankey is a registered nurse. She has raised three daughters and is a grandmother of two girls, Kaylee and Regan. She tells stories based on her life experiences and the life lessons learned. She lives in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.
