About the Book
Even the youngest children are curious and can’t wait to explore the world around them. Sometimes they can be a bit too adventurous.
Author Leslie Stark’s Bella of Madison Park is a charming, beautifully illustrated book based on the real life of a remarkable little dog named Bella. An easy-to-read book about curiosity, adventure, and the human-animal bond, it teaches preschoolers and older the valuable lesson of staying close to home.
Bella of Madison Park’s whimsical rhyming phrases and magical elements make it perfect for early readers. Those too young to read will enjoy having it read to them. And the illustrations make it more enjoyable for all.
