About the Book
Hazelnuts are a family affair on this farm, going all the way back to great-grandpa Elmer. Each year the family produces 20,000 tons of hazelnuts sold in Oregon, California, and overseas. About the Author
Darcy Thomas Kirk lives in Independence, Oregon, with her family where they farm a third generation hazelnut farm. She attended Oregon State University and worked for Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom, aligning agriculture projects with state educational standards for seven years.
