Just last night he told me it was time to go to bed.
I said "OK".
But I still needed to finish the page I was coloring, put on my pajamas, brush my teeth, take my vitamins, go to the bathroom, get a drink of water, turn on my music, say goodnight to my little brother, and make sure there were no monsters under my bed.
At which I hear daddy say "MOLLY"
Then I say "OK, I am".
Needless to say daddies have no concept of the time it takes to do things.

About the Book
Mollie is certain her dad only knows how to count to three. When it’s time to go to bed, he tells her she has until the count of three to be ready for sleep. When it’s time to practice the piano, he counts to three and then it’s time to begin playing. For Mollie, it seems her dad always does things in threes, including giving hugs and kisses and saying good night.
But Mollie believes her dad doesn’t understand that it takes longer than three seconds to get ready for bed or to get dressed in the morning. She’s going to teach him to count to ten.
One of a series of books written and illustrated by Chaso, each story features Mollie and Ollie as they learn valuable lessons and share important messages about everyday life.
About the Author
Chaso is the parent of two children, Ollie and Molly. He has based his book characters on these two kids who find adventure in everything they do. Chaso and his family currently live in Fort Worth, Texas.
