About the Book
Mya Papaya is a girl who likes to be adventurous, but because she is still a little girl, she doesn’t always know what to expect. In the Mya’s Mighty Milestones series, Mya and her friends get to experience new things together. In Mya Papaya Meets the Wizard of Teeth, Mya is told she is going to the dentist. Never having been to the dentist before, will Mya and her friends find that going to the dentist is scary? Cubbie, Pax, and Ro think so, but Mya hopes it’s a chance to make new friends and learn new things.
About the Author
Jim Wojdyla and Tim Stirneman have lived in Illinois and called Chicagoland their home for practically their entire lives. Jim is the lead singer for a local band selling out venues wherever they play for the past 15 years. Dr.Tim has owned a successful dental practice for almost thirty years. Their shared devotion for local community outreach is one of the things that brought them together and sparked their desire to become children's book authors. Jim's daughters and Tim's grandkids give them plenty of inspiration to bring funny, yet thoughtful and meaningful stories to life.
