About the Book
Turq the turtle is insecure about living in two separate habitats. It’s tricky spending part of his time on an island with his dad and the rest of his time inland with his mom. Plus, for a turtle he’s a little freaked out, when it comes to the whole swimming thing.
To conquer his fear of deep water, as well as get answers to life’s difficult questions, Turq goes on a brave journey to visit the Wise Old Frog. Join Turq as he navigates his way through the great outdoors and life as a child with separated parents.

About the Author
Dustin Popken is the father of two boys. Born and raised in Oregon, Dustin went camping for the first time while still in his mother’s womb and has continued adventuring outside ever since. Now based in Austin, Texas, he does his best to pass his love for nature on to his sons and write about it along the way.
