Murder Afar

“If I may, I would like to bring to your attention that I am first of all appalled that we have not met before to discuss the two murders. This is an unprecedented situation and we are only getting piecemeal information. I have been informed that unless the Head of the Security Board has some new information, there has been no news on how this has happened and by whom. We are talking about not one but two murders without sufferers. Does this not merit an emergency meeting?”
“I would have called for a meeting once we had more information.” Answered Nordal. “We as the High Council do not have the capability to resolve the matter, so I felt it would take more time before we gathered here.”
“I agree with the Honorable Nara.” Said Zon. “This situation is against all our beliefs. It needs to be dealt with immediately. What is the Security Board doing? We are ready to assist.”
Before Nordal or anybody else could speak, Nara raised his voice.
“I welcome your support, although I don’t need it because the murders are not the only reason why I called for an emergency meeting. I was extremely worried to learn of another unprecedented development that in fact never happened before in our history. I found out that we are bringing, excuse me, inviting an alien to help us solve these murders.”
