And still, unto them,

With every passing breath- I wish for the sweet release of darkness when he sees only the light inside me.

But there is a darkness inside. Forced to face it, careless not carefree. Innumerable weapons, deserted throughout the day, pointing only at me as I ignore their ever-low groan.

I won’t let the noise in, I pray for a distraction… yet, I wonder what it would be like to drink poison.

Deficit of knowledge knows to threaten the universe; so civil and believed to be well-kept.

My heart pains for those who unlearn… blissfully immersed in the deception of a purpose.

Blissfully ignorant.

Concealed harm making its silent promises so full of pain. In the dark of night, I find the will to live- until I am betrayed once again.

The will to leave those who will leave me, seeking out the shattered person I have put back together.

There’s hardly any fear in the type of pain we inflict… same as good deeds, and that they are never not an act of selfishness.

The only thing left in tact, in a loveless kingdom governed by self-prescribed destiny & a false sense of security- Freudian by design… A just way of hiding from the truth… and the truth is defined only by our hidden words… woven, so simply, in our ignorant acts of torture.
