About the Book
When you bully someone, you might lose your family, friends, job, or self for only a few minutes of power. What’s more, the pain of being bullied can last a very long time.
Katie and Willie Crab are excited to go to the pool, but when they get there, King Crab—the biggest and meanest of the crabs—pushes them around and drags them down to the bottom. Snow Crab tries to speak up for the smaller crabs and for little Freddie Shrimp, but King won’t listen to anybody. Then one day a boat arrives, and the humans above throw down a large net meant to catch crabs. As the net closes in, King Crab keeps pulling the smaller crabs down to the bottom to keep them from swimming away. Will any of the crabs be able to escape?
This children’s story tells the tale of King Crab, who bullies the smaller sea creatures but soon learns that being a bully can ruin your life.
