About the Book

A little boy is overjoyed when he discovers a strange Weiner dog in a tree. The two become fast friends. The boy diligently cares for the pup. They play at the park and chase butterflies and birds. But one day, in the middle of fun, the Weiner dog disappears. The boy searches everywhere in the park, and it’s getting dark. He finally finds his friend in an unexpected place.

This rhyming picture book for children is the second in a series of whimsical, sweet tales about a strange Weiner dog and the little boy who is his owner. It shares a story of sweet reunions and of a wonderful friendship.

About the Author

Dr. B.B. Hightower is an educator who has taught in a variety of educational settings. He is currently an adjunct professor instructing aspiring teachers. He and his wife enjoy spending time with their family, friends, and pets.
