The Mystical Ladder to Elysian Fields

There are seven foundational steps to spiritual existence, seven intuitive stages of progress of the Soul leading to the inner life. These seven mystical rungs of ascension are degrees of inner activity, of spiritual progression into deeper realms of enlightenment where the mist is dispersed, and we awaken from the deep slumber, the hypnotism of the dream.

The seven rungs are a map, an outline alluded to by many of spiritual vision throughout time. Each rung is climbed by guidance received by the Soul unveiling the dense and subtle degrees of hypnotism blocking our way, enabling us to break through the mesmerism, the beliefs binding us within our own thought patterns. Each of the seven principles when embodied within Soul consciousness releases us further from this world.

As we gaze from the vantage point of Soul elevation it is clearly seen each of the seven ascending rungs are composed of numerous degrees of spiraling steps contained within the seven levels of consciousness: each a degree of Soul perception and experience. These are inter-connected, interpenetrating levels within each state naturally unfolding one into another, spilling over from principle to principle, from rung to rung.

The seven rungs of ascension known as Jacob’s Ladder symbolize seven degrees of inner activity of our Soul’s ascent. The number seven stands for the divine alchemy of rebirth. Each of the seven states of consciousness mark the wayfarer’s journey from the toil of the earth to the freedom of paradise. The inner ascent of the Soul, through the seven rungs of the mystical ladder, yields the heightened consciousness of illumination.

As seekers of The Way we are guided and directed by the luminous light dawning within. The Soul light brightens the path under our feet when we choose to walk upon the straight and narrow path. We are a lamp unto ourselves, a light fired by truth embodied in consciousness. As the sun appears to be the light of this world, God is the light of our Soul. His glorious quickening light illuminates the way to harmonious living. Love, devotion, and surrender power us to climb the seven steps to faithfully follow the Golden Circle of the Soul.

We come to live a harmonious existence by learning the art of being at one with divine rhythm, the movement of Spirit. When we walk in a state of realized Soul consciousness, we live as a spiritual Being of light, and life takes on a new meaning. We still see through physical eyes, but that which we are looking at appears differently. Everything is livelier. We see brighter light filtering through our vision. Colors are more vivid and sounds more enchanting. We feel heightened in our awareness, and it is truth in consciousness that stirs us within and gives us this lift.

As a lover of God, we develop the joyous capacity to bask in communion with all nature, engaging in the inner peace that flows from the magnificent beauty abound. The endless, sparkling canape of twinkling stars, the breath-taking sunrises and sunsets, the awe inspiring sight of a rainbow, the harmonic ebb and flow of the ocean, the glory song of the birds and sweet fragrance of the flowers are all a means by which we attain the oneness, the inner peace which sets us apart from this world.

The experience of oneness lifts one to ever expanding degrees of glorious harmony, of balance, of divine rhythm and deeper periods of inner relaxation while maintaining a spiritual alertness and awareness, allowing a Soul to live a freer more spontaneous, intuitive life.

As we steadfastly continue on our way we come to a place where we experience unity through the realization that behind the glorious manifested creation we can perceive God, and through the traces of God implanted within each of His expressions of love, we are led onward to experience spiritual union.

Divine rhythm is established in heart, mind and Soul throughout our whole integrated Being as we align with the heartbeat of creation. This growing affinity is how we attain the awareness of the oneness of life and thereby are drawn into conscious union with God, the true activity and substance permeating all appearance of form. To the degree we realize oneness, to that measure do we move forward in individual progression of Spirit.

As we are in harmony with a quickened vibration our outer life prospers reflecting the inner. We absorb the wisdom to grasp that God is the source and embodies the life and harmony by which we transform into a transparency, an extremely sensitive instrument to receive and consciously transmit divine energy flowing in, as and through us. The mystical life lifts us to where we actively feel the emanation of Spirit; bathing in the living waters of divinity and eating of the “twelve manner of fruit,” the Celestial Nuggets of Ambrosia that fuel our ascent up the mystical ladder.

Mystical consciousness develops the recognition of one power as the creating force in the universe, and the awareness to make a conscious effort to be in alignment with this source, allows us to let the power direct the unfoldment of our life. As we step aside all motivation is directed by the Soul in attunement with the will of God and the unchanging, transforming truth which dissolves and erases from consciousness all that is of a temporal nature.

Christ Jesus and other illumined torches of light revel the principles that lead to a life more abundant, the light that beckons one on to fulfill the desire and quench the longings of the Soul.

Glory to God, the invisible splendor, finding expression through the individual consciousness of willing Souls. To them, wave after wave of realized oneness unfolds revealing greater possibilities transforming the predictable, mundane barrenness into great vistas ripe for harvest.
