About the Book
Red Balloon is lonely. Since there aren’t other balloons in the circus, Red lives all by himself. Red wants to find another balloon to talk and play with, so one day, Red lifts off and floats away. He floats over the circus, over the meadow beyond the pond, and into the country where he sees trees and birds.
Suddenly, Red sees a bright yellow spot in the sky. At first, Red thinks the spot is the sun … but no! Yellow Balloon becomes Red’s first friend. How many more friends can Red meet in his exciting travels?
The Big Pop is a story that teaches about friendship and the importance of including everyone while assisting children as they learn colors.
