The sky opened, and Emily slid down a gleaming ray of sunshine. She drifted through a cloud with a hazy mist and landed safely into the sea where she rocked gently on a foamy westbound wave.
Emily was here on a mission. The mission was important. The Lord had sent her down to look after four of his creations who lived in the ocean. They were, in alphabetical order: the crabs, the dolphins, the schools of fish and the sea turtles.

When our children get wind of and understand the precarious times we live in it is only natural for them to express concern for the creatures that fill their lives with joy and wonder. If you have ever experienced a child who prays for a living thing your heart will rise up after your reading experience of this foreshadowing and possibly prophetic piece of work. You will be reminded that our preparedness for the calling includes faith, hope and love.
This volume is a collection of four short chapters depicting Emily the guardian angel of all sea creatures who teaches how to pray, enlighten hearts and uplift souls. Her students spin, circle and hop with delight. You will be touched by the narrative and inspired by the encouragement Emily instills. As much as children are intrigued by living things they will be even happier to learn that the Lord has a plan for all his creations, and that plan includes the gift of everlasting life.
About the Author
A performer by the age of five, Candidie turned professional at the age of twelve. She directed children’s theatre at seventeen and subsequently studied at Northwestern University and The Juilliard School. Following commercials, road shows and teaching she turned to the visual arts and writing. She resides in North Carolina.
