About the Book

Twelve-year-old Emily lives with her family, just outside Midland, Michigan. She has the coolest grandpa ever because he teaches her how to do fun things!
One night while they are attending a wedding, Papa LeRoy asks Emily to stand on his shoes so he can teach her how to dance. As he moves his feet to the music, Papa LeRoy guides Emily around the dance floor and eventually encourages her to dance on her own. It is not long before she is moving her feet, right along with his! About the Author

E. F. House is a Michigan native best known for her literary and musical talents. She began playing piano at age three, writing poetry and fiction at age eight, and playing percussion at age eleven. A retired executive assistant, House has taught percussion and vocals, and performed with several musical groups nationwide. She lives in Colorado with her family.
