“Before the world was created, the Word already existed; he was with God, and he was the same as God. From the very beginning the Word was with God. Through him God made all things; not one thing in all creation was made without him.”

If you would sit quietly amidst the stillness and tranquility of nature and just behold, you might feel something transpire within, a feeling of oneness with everything around you. A calmness, a quiet engulfs you, and, for a time, you are submerged in nature and completely lost to yourself.
When you rise above yourself you begin to experience an awakening of something inside that cannot be explained. It is a feeling, a stirring of a presence, a quickening of love, intangible, but very real. This feeling is the stirring, the gentle awakening of Spirit within, the presence of God consciousness, a force of love.
God is love and showers all with His love, saint, and sinner alike, for He is no respecter of persons or any status someone may have acquired in this world. Just as the sun constantly shines its light, God shines His love for all. It is only that some of us have our umbrellas open and are unable to feel it. Those who are attuned know it, feel it, and reflect it back.
The greater the degree we live in the realization of love, the more attuned we become, and the more we grow in oneness with Him. It is to that degree we find His abundant love blessing our life. When we live in awareness of the love of God, we walk in His glory and live under His grace.
God’s love has always been and will forever be within us. It is we who have left him by living under false beliefs and concepts, embedded with myths and illusions of what He is. His truth is buried under layers of misconceptions that we accept and entertain in our minds, and this is what keeps us from finding Him.
God, the heavenly Father and creator of all, is infinite, and can one who has a finite, limited mind understand the infinite? Could anyone possibly think in their limited mind that they could come to know what God is?
It has long been the nature of mankind to be egotistical, and for the most part accept only that which can be reasoned out with the mind. In this way, one fool-heartedly attempts to diminish God into thoughts they are capable of understanding.
Since our resources of comprehension are limited, we have to first awaken to the fact that God is, relax, and let Him reveal Himself to us.
“Great is the blindness and exceeding the folly of many souls that are ever seeking God, continuously sighing after God, and frequently desiring God; while all the time, they are themselves the tabernacle of the Living God …” and they know it not.

Natural man or woman has created an image of God as someone to turn to, mostly in time of trouble, or when they desire or need something. Imagine how mistaken one’s concepts of what God is if they think they can change His mind or bribe Him by something they may say or do.
So many seek Him only when looking for favors, barely remembering to thank Him for all He has graciously bestowed upon them, which is so often taken for granted.
We need to remember to seek him always, not only when we are in the depths of the valley, but also when we feel as though we are on the peak of a mountain. We come to look to Him on sunny days as well as rainy ones, and then He becomes a constant presence, and we begin to experience a deeper peace.
Peace and inner contentment cannot be found through things. Carnal man or woman are such that once they attain whatever it is they are humanly seeking, possibly obtaining temporary happiness, more than likely they will desire something else.
There are many who honestly believe if they got what they wanted or wished for their goal would be fulfilled and their happiness would finally be realized. There are numerous people who think this same way, and even though many do attain that new home, job, car or whatever, they find they have only succeeded to further bind themselves deeper into the life of humanhood, and the happiness they thought they would achieve, lasted only for a while. They see that their life really has not changed. They find after however long it takes for all their friends and family to see what it is they bought or now have, or after everyone has heard all about that new job or whatever, that life goes back to being basically the same. Several months later, after the newness of whatever it is has worn off, they find themselves once again wishing or hoping for something else, and still searching for that happiness, but not quite finding it.
Material possessions will not buy contentment, love, or peace. These Soul attributes can only be found through God. We cannot consistently be happy without being connected to and drawing off His power, an endless supply of strength. He is our lifeline, for without Him we are but lost sheep without a shepherd.
Jesus the Christ, the Good Shepherd, was manifest on earth in pure light and truth. He walked in love teaching the will of God, establishing the way to inner fulfillment. He is a light on the path of light. His words of truth lead to realization of eternal life. As a manifestation of divine love, His teachings reflect and revolve around love at its center.
In His teachings Jesus revealed the way to true life. His words are unchanging principles, the formula to life. Man of love radiated love as He taught the way to salvation is through love.

About the Author
When you first meet Steve and Lynn Jay you are immediately struck by their obvious oneness of Spirit and the deep love they share. They are each one wing of a bird that took flight more than fifty years ago.
They began studying the Infinite Way in 1973 after finding a book by Joel Goldsmith and were fascinated, as all previous studies had brought them to this point.
In 1980 they moved from New York to Palm Desert, California and met other students of the Infinite Way. They were then led to the works of Herb Fitch by their Infinite Way teacher, Muriel West Jones.
In the years that followed they forged a deep friendship with Herb, and in 1993 Steve experienced the unique honor being named as an Infinite Way teacher by Herb at his San Diego Easter seminar. This occurred much to the delight of all who were in attendance. Steve felt the spiritual responsibility to be worthy of such an honor and vowed to fulfill that confidence. He was immediately invited to do a seminar the following year in Santa Rosa, California.
On May 1, 1993, the Jay family moved to Maui, and in the twenty-seven years since moving there they live a life contrary to the world, but in perfect sync for their family. They live in unified agreement following the will of God, working together as a reflection of the life they live. This is a result of multi-generations living in spiritual fellowship and Soul creativity.
In 2017 Steve and Lynn were inspired to write some of these sacred happenings, as well as soulful wisdom; spiritual feasts in four exciting new works; two of Herb’s and two of their own, which they are delighted to make available for Souls seeking deeper awareness and spiritual fulfillment.
