The author is a retired elementary teacher, who loves history, and also a true believer in a properly run democracy! She loves our one-of-a-kind nation, and concerned that it is so under-appreciated by too many! Our unique history should be held dear to every American's heart, and cherished for what our forefathers achieved at great odds!
