1 - Starsong

Stars:
Under the Stars there's a newborn creation,
Under the Stars she lies.

Under the Stars lives a bright constellation,
Under the Stars she dies.

We watched the billions come and go,
And noticed very few.
But,
Before the day that she was born,
Her fate was one we knew.

Although we've known her tragedy
Before her time has come.
Still,
We're genuinely sorrowful
Her trial has begun.

Under the Stars comes a soothing elation,
Under the Stars she'll rise.

We saw her heart still beautiful
In life and in her death,
And kept her love still dutiful while struggling for breath.

We carved her story into starlight
So our watchers can beware,
And relish reading of a love as pure as it is rare.

7 - Waiting for a Sign

Savrina:
Another day,
Another night.
Nothing new,
Nothing in sight.

Stars:
We are Stars gleaming!
Stars Stars Stars we gleam for you!

Savrina:
I only wish for my life to have a value,
Even if it's given in my death.
I find this world too tedious to push through,
And await strange fates with bated breath.

I want to know the mettle I am made of,
And put my spirit to the test.
And if it's life itself I am afraid of,
Then I can lay my soul to rest.

Stars:
When you're blind to the good around you,
You will succumb to sin.
Pay your mind to the souls around you,
And the beauty held within.

Savrina:
They say the Stars shine for me,
Awaiting my demise.
But I hear only silence,
Beneath their thousand laughing eyes.

“Show me,
Please.
Just a little taste,
Of a distant glimmered hope?”

“Please!
Say my life is not a waste,
Say it just to help me cope.”

Stars:
We drew a Starsign!
One who will always follow:
Always loving,
Always loyal.

Savrina:
...I wait...
Wait for the Stars to say something.
They say nothing.
Nothing to me,
I go home
Wading through dark trees.

Stars:
We are Stars glowing!
Stars Stars Stars we glow for you!

Savrina:
I live my life half-sick of shadows,
And know not what my curse may be.
But I'd give my life to feel alive,
So spare me naught, my destiny!

9 - Seers Warning

Seers:
It's falling all apart before us,
Now their feelings overcome us.

Savrina:
Just a month ago my sadness
Pulled me into the bottomless
Abyss.
The way life changes oh so quickly,
Never ceases to amaze me.

Seers:
“Despite all you do or say,
You know how your story ends.
Hence you have to turn away,
Before anything begins.”

Sirius:
“Who are these?”

Seers:
“Pleiades.”

Savrina:
“A disease.”

Seers:
“A life of loss and torment, is her destiny defined!
We gave her ample warning with the doom that we described!
Dismiss us ridicule us it's the Stars that you deride!
And if you choose to be with her, your fates will be entwined!”

Savrina:
“Sirius?”

Sirius:
“Savrina...”

“Well I've heard them say to stay away,
So I shouldn't be standing here.
But it's cold outside in Autumn tonight,
And it's fair to say how I feel.”

“To what intent could my life extend,
If I had to live it all alone?
If it's not too late, let's set a date,
And go dancing in the downtown.”

Seers:
“Savrina.”

“You ought to turn away!
The fate you seal today,
Depends on what you say!”

Savrina:
“I had concern that if they returned,
You would turn your back on me.
I love to dance and need your romance,
So I'll join this festivity.”

“To my distress I bought a sea-green dress,
I thought you'd never see me wear.
Let's stay up late have a laugh at fate,
It's a sentiment we can share.”

Seers:
“You made your choice now don't regret,
The truth vain lovers oft forget!
The Stars enjoy no idle threats!”

23 - Sweet Grey November

Savrina:
I lived devoid,
Until you joined.
We watched the daylight fade
While the nights grew long,
But our hearts stayed close,
And our love grew strong.
Can't imagine life any other way,
Than beside you every single day.
And the time we shared together,
Was Sweet Sweet Grey November.

The heart I found,
Will dance unbound.
Among the star-signs that we trace,
Where I am held in your embrace.
Lighting the skies forever,
In Sweet Sweet Grey November.

My dearest love,
My rise above.
Despite the cold you kept me warm,
And we ignored impending harm.
Cherish our time together,

In the darkness,
And the silence.
Saw the demons leave,
When my angel came,
But the sky still stormed
With my fate unchanged.
It was Summer's light that stole my breath,
To my dismay I saw these shadows depth.
