About the Author

Rita Dunn is an author, a poet, an environmentalist, and an advocate for social justice. Having overcome countless hardships and struggles, she now lives in Southern California with her two children and many dogs. Rita is also the founder of the nonprofit Rainbow Forest, which seeks to alleviate the heat island effect in the West Valley.
