My mind would not settle down, I was fake smiling at my kids, I told my staff I was going to a doctor appointment, and my dad kept asking how I was feeling. I could not really tell him, and I certainly did not tell him about the MRI. I felt like I was going to explode the entire morning. I got in there and was almost having an out of body experience. So many prep questions, my brain refused to cooperate. My saving grace was that they use video headsets, so I was able to watch HGTV during the MRI. I am drugged, watching HGTV, this MRI process was not so bad. An hour or so later, the MRI is over. Whew. I am exhausted from no sleep and the sedative. I got dressed and left. My husband drops me home and directs me to take a nap, not to do anything. This I can do. Except for the phone ringing an hour later. Caller ID has my PCP on it. This is good, the test showed nothing so there was nothing to read, and they were calling me with the results. I could not be more wrong.
