The lady finally decided to follow him and accompany him to fight in Ukraine. So the newlyweds went back to Ukraine to fight. They experienced last year’s war in Ukraine. This novel introduces the whole war last year by telling the story of the two.


About the Author

Samuel Chen is a writer from China. Because of the political persecution in the motherland, he fled the homeland in 2015. Now, he resides in Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States. However, it seems that he has not found a suitable path for his development for many years, so he has been writing some essays in the United States to pass the time. However, last year, a war in Ukraine broke out. So he signed up to join the army in Ukraine to fight. But he was not hired because he was too old and his physique was too poor. At the end of last year, he suddenly thought, since he is the best novelist worldwide, why not write a Ukrainian war novel to help Ukraine? So, he wrote this novel.
