Quinn is a writer and librarian living in Portland, OR. At the time she wrote this book, she had 4 finches, 3 chickens, 2 dogs and 1 cat. Mackenzie Cole is an illustrator from Missouri. At the time she illustrated this book, she had 1 cat and 1 dog, but, like most teenagers, she doesn’t have her own house yet, so that could change.
