About the Author
Clair Campbell majored in English with a minor in Creative Writing at the University of Alabama. Her first illustrated book was published in 1983. She practices law in the Carolinas and runs a hunting lodge/event venue in Anson County, NC with her husband. Her 86 year old mother has been reading all her life and, other than love, says that reading aloud is the greatest gift you can bestow on a child. Clair and Cathy first collaborated on a portrait of Maeve, Clair's Yorkie, years ago.
Cathy Flynn has been painting with watercolors most of her life. She earned a BFA from the University of Oklahoma. Cathy worked as a graphic designer for 40 years owning a graphic design/web business with her husband, Jack, in Charlotte, NC. Now living in Norman, OK with their 2 cats, Cathy is combining her passion for animals and watercolors as a watercolor pet portrait artist. This is her first children's book.
