Little One

About the Book

When you think of the love you have for the little one in your life, you can’t help but share it. This love is compared to the world around you—like flowers reaching towards the sun, twinkling night stars, and a warm gentle breeze. Love feels like singing birds, laughter, warm hugs, and so much more.

This poem for young children describes the endless love that we feel for the little ones in our lives.

About the Author

Meagan McFadden is an elementary reading and writing teacher. She wrote Little One while on maternity leave for her daughter, Kaia. She currently lives on an island in Georgia and spends her free time exploring outside and enjoying the southern sunshine with her family.
