In fact, my friend Olivia and I are off to visit Sadie the Scorpion who said her tail is broken.” Caroline and Olivia find Sadie trudging through the field feeling very sad because her tail does not work.

About the Author
Addie Stewart is a retired early childhood educator of over forty years. She lives on a farm in South Texas with her husband, Lonnie. She has three grown children, and seven grandchildren. She has a deep love and appreciation for children’s literature. The idea to write her own stories came while she was recovering from her third journey battling a life-threatening cancer diagnosis. She created a book series called "Caring for Critters"about the experiences of unusual, unique insects. Each story takes the reader on a journey to learn important life lessons and the critical role of insects in the ecosystem. The life lessons will help parents and children manage difficult issues they might encounter in this world, and the science lessons will help children learn about nature. Most importantly, the books will inspire curiosity, teach kindness, and encourage environmental protection.
