The Skin You’re In is a love letter to adoptees and their families. Isabel’s hope is this book will help families openly discuss diversity within their home and proudly celebrate differences, because simply put: families don’t have to match!
About the Author
Isabel Betancur is a wife, lawyer and mother of four. As a biological and adoptive mom, she wanted a book that she and other families like hers could read to their children that celebrated their differences. She wrote this book as a love letter to her own diverse children and to all the families who proudly wear many colors.
