Chapter 5, page 54 Thomas smiled and said, “I’m not here for yoga classes but for you both, for you Joe and you Ashlee.” Ashlee quickly asked, “Wait… wait… How do you know our names? Do we know you?” Smiling, Thomas answered, “No, but I know you very well, and I’m hoping we can become good friends. You see some co-workers of mine and I have been monitoring and observing you for days. We have determined that you have incredible energy and abilities, and we would like you to join our group.” Joe folded his arms, his eyes growing hard, even as he kept his tone polite. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. And none of us is interested in joining anyone, so thank you, and please leave.” Thomas raised both his palms in a gesture of surrender. “I understand you are not trusting me and being cautious. But we know exactly what you are and your capabilities; we know both of you are good people, and you care about others. We know your abilities, and you’re probably wondering why you were brought together and where to go from here. Well, I can answer all your questions, but you must come to our group’s headquarters and see for yourselves. I can tell you now that you’re both very important for humankind’s survival and that you are in danger if you stay here by yourselves.” Joe and Ashlee looked at each other, and they nodded their heads. They had already scanned Thomas’s thoughts and knew he was trustworthy and telling the truth. Ashlee was the one to speak up to Thomas this time. “Okay, we know we have to do something, and it seems our path takes us to you, so yes, we’ll join you.” Thomas raised a brow at Joe, who gave a nod. Thomas grinned.

About the Book
You, I and many millions of people throughout the world have wonder at some time or another about our origin. Did we evolve naturally or were we created by God? Are the stories and myths of ancient gods true? Are we along in the universe? What’s our purpose in life? What’s mankind’s future and fate? Since childhood I read everything I could to answer these questions, but I never found satisfactory answers. I decided to bring all these elements together and to formulate a plausible explanation to everything we have always wondered about. I’m not a writer but I attempted to create a fiction narrative of my interpretation and to make it entertaining at the same time. My fiction novel “ANUNNAKI” has the main two characters, Ashlee and Joe, with their special abilities, trying to find a way to stop the One World Order, an ancient secret society, from causing the destruction of mankind. They will take you on a thrilling worldwide quest searching for relics of the ancient Gods, which would help them save earth, but time is running out, all the signs are pointing to the end of times, the return of the “Creator” and final judgment!
About the Author
Jose has loved reading since childhood and has been interested in the metaphysical, including science fiction, ancient civilizations, the Bible, world religions, and mysticism. He went to medical school and practiced for nearly forty years. He lives in Arizona with his partner and enjoys travel around the world. This is his first book.
