Week 1 Scripture Text: Psalm 27:8 When thou saidst, Seek ye My face; My heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek. For the Closet: We must seek the presence of God, but it first must be settled in the very core of our hearts. Remember, God searches the heart, so if it is settled, then we won’t miss His presence.

Hence, the scriptural foundational text within this series is based upon (a) Three dimensions of prayer : supplications, prayers, and intercessions (1 Timothy 2:1), and (b) God’s stated desires in 2 Chronicles 7:14.
About the Author
When Dr. Shelia Lewis reflects upon her life’s beginning in North Richmond, CA to her present life, she refers to her journey and herself as “a product of prayer.” Through effectual, fervent prayers of family and friends, Dr. Lewis journeyed from immoral challenges to a retired Army service member, earned a Masters in Christian Ministry and became a PhD in Business. God continues to honor past and present prayers as she continues to serve as an intercessory prayer warrior in her living room, local church membership as well as in her position of senior leader in higher education. Dr. Lewis shares scripturally based prayers in this one-year intercessory prayer tool, that is useful for all nations to develop a personal relationship with the Almighty God through prayer.
