About the Book
Where Can Mouse Sleep? is an educational book, focusing on a mouse, who is looking for a place to sleep. Toddlers and pre-schoolers will be introduced to adjectives, nouns and prepositions, describing the possible locations for the mouse to sleep. They will also realize the reasons that the mouse will not be able to sleep in every location. Appropriate for at-home learning or in the classroom, this book is a mix of logical thinking, problem solving and language learning.
About the Author
Sally McKinney taught preschool children for 42 years. The children had a variety of abilities, many were medically fragile. It was a rewarding, purposeful job! Reading was a shared, joyful experience for all of the children.
Sally is the mother of two adult daughters, Donyata and Talia. She has an Instagram story time for kids, @sallyemckinney and a story time on TikTok @sallymckinney.
Laura Brubaker has drawn since she was a child, but started experimenting with watercolors as an adult. She also enjoys painting with alcohol ink. Her passions are her subjects: flowers, animals and her children and grandchildren. Laura is the mother of two adult children, Brad and Beth and the grandmother of five.
