About the Author

I am Meme Lukwitz-Mihalovic, a passionate poet, tireless advocate and proud mama bear. Born and raised in the heart of the Midwest (Wisconsin). I have spent my life in the heart of the United States. Since my teenage years the art of poetry has been my constant companion. It served as a means of self-expression, allowing me to capture the emotions and the experiences that shape our human existence. Though I temporarily set aside my poetic endeavors to prioritize the upbringing of my children, this profound for love of writing has never life my side. My journey as an advocate began when one of my beloved children was blessed with the extraordinary gift of Autism. This was life-changing experience ignited a fire within me, propelling me to raise my voice and fight for a world that embraces and supports the unique abilities of every individual. As an ardent traveler, I’ve been fortunate enough to witness a kaleidoscope of human experiences, capturing the essence of life through my lens and words. Each picture serves as a reminder that every moment holds a story worth sharing, a story that can inspire change, empathy, and unity.
