Self-Love To fully love ourselves we must embrace all sides of ourselves, including our dark sides. We see an example of this in nature with planting weeds with flowers. Some people might think weeds are ugly, useless, and pests. Something to be ignored, ripped out and never faced. However, weeds can serve as fertilizer for the flowers in a garden and help them grow even more. Similarly, we must embrace our shadow side which helps our light side. To fully love ourselves, we must accept all sides of ourselves and open our minds and hearts to everything if we are to fully thrive and allow radical self-acceptance.

In this book you will learn ways to give and receive love and how to love yourself and others more fully. It provides a fun way to learn about different morals and values from multiple perspectives and cultures. I have chosen the lessons in this book based on my experience in working as a psychotherapist and through books I’ve read that stood out to me the most. Every lesson has an affirmation and a beautiful drawing to go with it making it enjoyable for adults and children.
About the Author
Christine Cronin, is an MSW and MPH graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. She has worked in the field of psychology since 2004. She became Vice President at a non-profit at age 27 working with the homeless, has been a yoga instructor since 2022, completed the first level of Reiki training in 2023, and has visited 18 countries.
