About the Book
This is a book of 136 color photographs taken in the eastern portion of Long Island known as The Hamptons during the past 20 years. The photographer has been visiting The Hamptons on a consistent basis since his youth and has an understanding of the community that goes beyond it’s present role as a playground for wealthy New Yorkers, and has endeavored to depict the area as it exists today in the context of it’s long and rich history.
About the Author
ARTHUR FRANK is a New York City based photographer who has been photographing sports related activities for more than forty years. His previously published photography books were Cowboy Up and Horse Racing. FRANCIS LEVY is the author of the novels Erotomania: A Romance, Seven Days in Rio and Tombstone: Not a Western and of the short story collection, The Kafka Studies Department with illustrations by Hallie Cohen.
