About the Book
In the book, The Rise and Ruin of the HOA the author and environmental expert James Fightmaster gives a map like account to the problem of water displacement caused by the HOAs. In this account he gives an example that water is being used throughout the HOA that in time of drought could be a problem when looking at the population boom. The book talks about human consumption and displasment of water that is unheard of and makes it feel like a little bit of a crisis. When you think about how much water we use as a human species it is important to know that this is on the forefront of things that need to be reviewed with climate change. The book talks about the difference between the map context of climate change on homesteading vs. HOA and cities and monocropping farms.
