Welcome to My World The spender of the falls Washes over me Reflections are sharp So much depth Integrity the key. So Many Things So many things So many priorities Each feels as Though majorities Not all are The same Taking on all Leads to blame It is a common blunder To find yourself under It’s significant to note In order of importance It’s imperative to note To keep up portance Once that happens Experience sanity Of thought outweighs The vanity Balance frame of mind Get rid of crappiness Move much closer To happiness. Sit Back I always sit back And expect to be noticed Truth is, present Never focused I work hard I play hard I deserve more Then I receive My past into future I try to weave Never leave to destiny Never rely on destiny To go through hardships Often amaze Going through Is a passing phase Take good care of my health Pay attention to health Once all addressed Asking without screams Will allow me to go In pursuit of my dreams. Karma and Family Karma is a bitch Family is worse Sometimes amazing Sometimes more a curse Family is wonderful Family is important Even knowing At times not concordant When things get tough Always stay calm No reason to react As always a bomb Don’t blame yourself For all around Know the limits Expectations abound Make sure to Work out problems alite With family calm And rational, no bite. Make My Day I sit here and think I sit here and ponder I allow myself time I allow my mind to wander So many things to do So many things to see The only one holding Me back, is me I need to let go I need to allow to be All these road blocks Can’t see forest for the tree I need to accept To allow the flow One never knows Where opportunities go The first thing to do Get out of my way Others can try, but Only I make my day. Stronger There is a pause A moment of rest Take time to breathe You can be your best With so much happening So much going on Pausing and resting Allowing greatness to spawn Take this time Embrace it all Await new challenges Which will call Crisis after crisis Causes us to react Sometimes one feels Totally sacked Take this time To nurture yourself Re-enter life A stronger self. The beauty of the flower Requires upkeep The roots below Go quite deep Against the Odds Rejection Betrayal Hurt Discouragement All hang in the air A seemingly necessary pain To avoid danger and grief Lessons allow to train Some suffering makes strong Some suffering makes weak Some suffering makes us careful Some suffering makes answers to seek Often we are knocked down Often need to let go Often feel no choice Often directions we know What determines the future The choices we make Do we stay down or rise To the challenge to take. Bring It On Listen to the voice We all have within It isn’t rational But not a sin Use intuition Let your mind go Sometimes all it takes To truly know Reflect on relationship Do they lack sense Something not common But still calls hence It’s the feeling of rightness Of feeling the fit Can feel a bunt Or a baseline hit Logics not always The answer Sometimes presence Brings out the romancer.

About the Author
Dreamey’s interest in words began at a young age. Dr. Seuss taught her rhymes were fun. Early in high school, Dreamey found William Blake’s writings. She fell in love with how he could paint a scene and elicit feelings based on how he put words together. She has always kept that in mind, applying such to her prose writing and her poetry. Dreamey prefers short, concise concepts to more drawn-out sentence structures often employed by other writers. In her teens and twenties, she had poems published in anthologies and two locally published magazines. Along the way, she continued to write prose and lost her passion for poetry. In the past year, she found that again.
