About the Book

Between Two Creeks: The Reclamation of Amy Hawkins, My Third Summer continues the story of a rural Kentucky community introduced in my fi rst two publications in 2022 and 2024. The beloved people of the Valley of Two Creeks preserve the story’s rural charm. The story’s main character and narrator, Amy Hawkins, enters her third summer as she refl ects on lives of the people of Two Creeks and the continuing confl ict between the terrorist group Dawn Robin and President Victoria Washington’s task force. This third summer sees the cooperation of the United States and Russia in the fi ght against terrorism. A renegade Russian oligarch steals a nuclear weapon from Russia and brings it to the States to join forces with the American terrorists whose purpose is the assassination of the US President. However, something mysterious happens to the evil oligarch Sylya Ninsloka which the reader must discover. The President of Russia sends an envoy to assist in the recovery of the weapon and the capture of Sylya Ninsloka. This third offering of Between Two Creeks is fi lled with non-ending action and miracle. The beloved Karen Hanover from the second summer reappears. Amy Hawkins continues to be a channel of good will as the blue glow works miracles throughout the story. She is invited to enter the spirit realm of Shelumah (Heavenly Light) where she reaches a heightened level of skill and wisdom. Amy becomes very close to the President and her family and continues to protect them. During this third summer in the Valley of Two Creeks, President Washington builds her new home on the Chandler Estate, and the terrorists return, accordingly, to the Valley to complete the task they had failed the previous summer. Themes central to this third offering include love, family values, Native American traditions, patriotism, and international relations.
