First Session to Focus on the Top 10 Mistakes Every Writer Should Avoid
NEW YORK CITY - Feb. 25, 2013 – Archway Publishing, a self-publishing service from Simon & Schuster, Inc., and operated by Author Solutions, Inc. (ASI), is pleased to announce the launch of a sponsored series of free webinars designed to shed light on various aspects of the writing and publishing process for new and experienced authors.
The first interactive session, entitled "The Top 10 Mistakes Every Writer Should Avoid" will be co-hosted by Abby Zidle, senior editor of Gallery Books (a Simon & Schuster imprint) and publishing professionals from Archway. It will be held on Thursday, February 28 at 12 p.m. EST.
During the webinar, participants will have the opportunity to learn firsthand from veteran editor Zidle valuable information such as:
- Some of the most common writing mistakes made by authors
- How to improve your writing process to avoid these pitfalls
- What sets apart a good manuscript from a bad one
- Tales from the trenches: real-life stories to identify with and learn from
Abby Zidle has edited numerous bestselling titles for Gallery Books, including TWISTED by Laura Griffin, THE MARRYING SEASON by Candace Camp, and BECOMING SISTER WIVES by The Brown Family. Prior to joining Gallery, Zidle worked at Bantam Dell and Harlequin. Drawing on her professional experience, participants will gain insight into key mistakes writers should avoid to help ensure their book's success.
