Library of Congress Control Number

A LCCN allows your book to be quickly found and cataloged by librarians and book vendors by cataloging it with the Library of Congress (LOC). When you receive a Library of Congress Control Number (LCCN) through Archway Publishing, your book will be numbered and linked to the LOC, national libraries, bibliographic utilities and other book vendors so your book is easy to find.

Archway Publishing is approved to give out LCCNs, so we will work with the LOC to obtain a control number for your title and display the number on the title page inside your book.

Some publications are ineligible for a Library of Congress Control Number. Read our FAQ for more details. 

Note: This service can be purchased together with the publishing package or during the submission of the manuscript. This cannot be purchased for book titles that are already published.
