The MAGA Manifesto

There are many unfortunate MAGA parallels with the 1920s in America, when the KKK renewed and expanded its influence for white supremacy. However, the majority of the MAGA Republicans seem to understand that this “magnificent” Era of the KKK is beyond their realistic political and cultural reach. They have reluctantly forsaken the ideals of the KKK, and have settled their attention on the ideals of the 1950s which may be less controversial in 21^st Century America.

The MAGA Manifesto clearly intends to turn back the American cultural clock to the post-WWII Era of the 1950s, traveling back in time for roughly seven decades to a white and black era before such monumental milestones (millstones from a MAGA perspective) as the Civil Rights Act and Movement, the hippies’ freedom culture revolution of the 1960s, legal and social acceptance of interracial marriages, desegregation of schools, decades of declining membership in traditional white Christian churches, passage of the Voting Rights Act, the impact of feminism, Vietnam War protests, affirmative action programs, alleged disrespect for the American flag and National Anthem, Roe v. Wade, OSHA, EPA, ADA, ACA, consumer protections, the legalization of same-sex marriage, and the Respect for Marriage Act.

The above are just some of the major obstacles to be hurdled backwards in time in order to return to “American Greatness” in the eyes of the MAGA movement. There is a lot of cultural progress to erase in the past seven decades. MAGA folks are ready for the challenge, and have gotten conservative federal judges, including Justices of the United States Supreme Court, on board for the ride.
